This month, Lighthouse: The Tabernacle of Promise will step into the holiday season with a deep commitment to generosity through a special giving initiative titled Christmas at The Light. As a house that believes firmly in giving, this initiative will reflect our heart to serve families, meet tangible needs, and share the love of God in practical ways.
This season, Lighthouse will be raising $5,000 to feed 100 families for Christmas. Many households will be home for extended periods during the holidays, with multiple mouths to feed. Through this outreach, our church will stand in the gap to ensure families in need are supported, nourished, and encouraged.
Christmas at The Light will take place on December 21st, bringing together outreach, generosity, and celebration. In addition to feeding families, the event will embody the spirit of community and compassion that defines Lighthouse. As Scripture reminds us, “God gives seed to the sower” (2 Corinthians 9:10), and we believe every gift sown will make a meaningful impact.
To support the work being done, multiple giving options will be available, including Tithe, Offering, Building Fund, Christmas at The Light, and Unhoused Services. Contributors will be encouraged to label their giving, particularly gifts designated for “100 Families” to ensure funds are allocated appropriately.
This initiative will be more than a moment; it will be an expression of who we are. Through Christmas at The Light, Lighthouse will continue to serve, give, and extend hope one family at a time.
